Saltford’s summer fair was back in all its glory, themed around the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It was also a major part of this year’s Saltford Festival opening weekend.
The PTA did a fantastic job of putting on the fair, and sincere thanks go to everyone who was involved.
Thanks also to Great British Bake-Off winner Giuseppe Dell’Anno, who gave so much time and effort as special guest at the fair. He also baked and donated cakes for the tea room and co-judged the Saltford Bake-Off competition with Mrs Sage. The competition for children was for all year groups and multiple prizes were announced and awarded at the fair.
Despite the odd rain shower, there were lots of games, activities, demonstrations and stalls – something for everyone – and the day was a huge success.
